United Nations in Bosnia and Herzegovina
The United Nations Country Team (UNCT) in Bosnia and Herzegovina is comprised of thirteen UN Funds, Programmes and Specialized Agencies (FAO, ILO, IOM, UNDP, UNFPA, UNEP, UNESCO, UNHCR, UNICEF, UNODC, UNV, UN Women, WHO), the Bretton Woods Institutions (World Bank, IMF) and ICTY. The work of the UNCT is being coordinated through the Office of the UN Resident Coordinator and framed within the One UN Programme for Bosnia and Herzegovina 2015-2019 representing the strategic programmatic and financial basis for the development partnership between the United Nations and the country.

Bosnia and Herzegovina upgrades skills for assessing natural disaster damage
Floods, landslides, drought, storms, earthquakes and forest fires... Bosnia and Herzegovina is prone to natural disasters that hurt agriculture. Supported by the Swiss Government, FAO organized a conference here today on “Post-Disaster Needs Assessment Guidelines,” presenting findings and recommendations for improving current methodologies for assessing damages and losses in agriculture.
Kupres Cheese and Its Breakthrough on the Foreign Markets
Agricultural and Trading Cooperative BH Milch started producing the unique Kupres cheese at the end of 2014. In a matter of months, they have significantly increased the volume of production and developed the assortment of five kinds of cheese, and the support received through UN TFHS Joint Project was very helpful in this regard.
