Second Dialogue Platform Conference "Youth. Culture. Education"

On the occasion of the International Day of Peace, the UN agencies – UNDP, UNICEF and UNESCO – will host the second Dialogue Platform Conference “Youth. Culture. Education” on 21 September in Mostar, within the joint project “Dialogue for the Future” implemented in co-operation with the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

During the first Dialogue Platform Conference held in April 2015, some of the key issues about education, status of culture and cultural workers were raised, and conclusions were made stating that a better future of youth requires joint communication between individuals, NGOs and student organisations on the one hand, and on the other, representatives of government institutions.

Building on the results of the First Conference, the Second Conference of the Dialogue Platform entitled “Youth. Culture. Education”, through three separate thematic panels, will focus on details of these themes.

Thematic groups will include 70 participants, representatives of government institutions in BiH, young activists, academic and teaching staff, the ministries of culture, education and other relevant institutions, the civil society organisations, religious communities, and implementers of various projects supported by the UN Project “Dialogue for the Future”.
