Selection and Retention of Partners for Project Partnership Agreements in 2018

Calls for Expression of Interest

UNHCR Representation in Bosnia and Herzegovina is launching the following Calls for Expression of Interest for partnerships in 2018 and invites interested non-governmental, non-profit organizations/agencies including Red Cross and Red Crescent Society, to submit their Concept Notes for one or more of the following Calls:

1. CEoI/UNHCR/BIH/No.1
Title: Support to UNHCR’s advocacy efforts to implement the Revised Strategy for the Implementation of Annex VII of GFAP securing durable solutions for internally displaced persons and returnees

2. CEoI/UNHCR/BIH/No.2
Title: Provision of community services to recognized refugees and asylum-seekers

3. CEoI/UNHCR/BIH/No.3
Title: Advocacy for solutions through the provision of legal expertise, supported through free legal aid to UNHCR’s persons of concern in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

These Calls for Expression of Interest are open to all existing and/or new prospective partners who share common goals and objectives with UNHCR and wish to participate in UNHCR’s projects in Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2018. Interested organizations/agencies can apply for more than one Call; at the same time, they need to apply for the whole set of activities listed within particular Call as partial applications for individual activities will not be considered.

 

Deadline for the submission of Concept Note(s) is Tuesday, 24th October, 17:00 hrs CET.

 

Concept Notes should be submitted in English, sealed in an envelope, and addressed as follows:

Prospective partners that have not previously worked with UNHCR and are not registered with UNHCR Headquarters, will be required to declare that their organization meets the basic compatibility eligibility criteria for establishing a partnership with UNHCR, before the organization can be considered for selection for a Project Partnership Agreement (see Partner Declaration in Annex A). They should submit the Partner Declaration form with the submission of Concept Notes.

All applicant organizations will receive written notification, within the three weeks after the deadline for the submission of Concept Notes, of the outcome of the selection process. Should an applicant organization request further clarification, UNHCR will provide a response explaining the transparency and integrity of the selection process undertaken. Applicant organizations that are not satisfied with the response may escalate their concerns to UNHCR’s Implementing Partnership Management Service at epartner@unhcr.org. However, UNHCR reserves the right to decline disclosure of the specificity of decision derived by the UNHCR Office due to reasons related to confidentiality of protection of refugees or security.
